Here it is, a week before Valentine’s Day (and Anniversary #5 for Paul and I) and I am on a head cold high. I think my body is acting out in protest as I enter month number three of good, clean livin’.
That’s right – I have been exercising and eating right going on three months now…with the exception of this past week (no appetite, and lots of ab crunches in the form of coughing fits).
Alas, no need to call the w-a-a-a-mbulance, because I am officially on the mend. I finally went to the Dr. today (that’s when you know things are dire in my world) and am *TCB for real.
So, the point of my post…This is probably more for me than you; still…there is fun to be had all around. Just read ANY of my posts (there are PLENTY to choose from, going back to 2009) and leave a comment.
***I will enter your name for each comment you leave (what can I say, I am a comment slut).***
Leaving a comment automatically enters you into the prize drawing (it is a surprise, but there will definitely be hearts involved)! Thank you for sharing the love and HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! XOXXOXO,
Valynne (and the Brit)

Good to hear you are gonna live and even thrive! You and Paul have a great Valentine’s Day! Owen and I are going out for BBQ (better than fried catfish :))
Thanks, Peg…you two, too! We had a nice time in Atlanta this weekend…slowly but surely feeling human again…haven’t had a cold like that in I don’t know how long. Ugh.
Happy Valentines Day almost! And Happy Anniversary! I remember when you met cause well I was there! (At SOHO) So happy for you two and in all the things that you have been doing!

Awe, Jaime…working with you was the best. Lots of memories in that little time. I miss you! So fun to see you here on the blog *smiles*.
I love and miss you guys!!! When are you coming home? Hehe
Oh, Cyn…might be sooner rather than later! Paul misses Evergreen and I do too…at the same time I feel like I could wander the earth for all of my days…I do believe an Airstream would be perfect for us : ) The jury is still out on that one, though!
Happy Valentine’s Day, and Happy 5th Anniversary! Hope to see you soon and meet that Love of yours! Keep up the good Healthy Life Style and keep posting inspiration for us! Love you girlfriend, ali
We WILL get to SoCal for a visit, if not an official sit. Can’t wait to catch up with you & the fam…it has been too, too long! XOX
Valynne and Paul, I’ve missed your blog posts and wonder if I missed a “sign-up” link or something… I’d ike to connect “in person” by phone or (sigh) e-mail… how do I do that now? Hope all is well in your neck of the woods…. I’m thinking of you with much love. Denise
Denise, when I had the blog upgraded a bunch of stuff happened that I am still trying to figure out. Ever learning…Anyway I am glad we caught up a bit via e-mail (haven’t had a voice due to this cold!) and can’t wait to have more quality time with you next time we are in CO!
So sorry to hear you have been sick. Have a Valentine’s Day hug from me. xoxoxoxo
Can’t wait for the new product launch, Em! Don’t forget to let me know as soon as the website goes live and all of that stuff. What a talented group of women friends I have! Miss you, V
So glad you are feeling better “V”. I am in trouble here, I bought some really good “Fair Trade” chocolates for an early Valentines Day –
Chocolate Fest on Bear Mtn. Weel the party has been postponed due to all of this snow. How will it ever survive a few more days alone in this house with me??? Stay tuned – will I cave and eat the chocolates?
Sadie, you WON the prize drawing!!! Yay, you! Oh, and just so you know, I was re-reading a copy of Natural Health magazine recently when I came across an article on chocolate…
“Chocolate contains phenols…these phenols have been shown to improve vascular-wall tone, lower blood pressure, and decrease blood-clotting risk by reducing platelet activity…” and on and on it went, quoting chemist Andrew Waterhouse, Ph.D. from UC Davis.
I think if you are purchasing high quality, fairly traded chocolate (and I know you are), then you can rest easy. Just remember the ol’ quality over quantity principle. Heh, heh.
Hey Valynne and Paul! Thought I’d stop by and throw my name in the hat. Love you guys!
Lisa! Thanks for visiting : ) I just love Blogsville. Can’t wait to see you play the bass next time we are in town! We love you too and wish you and Bill a most romantical Heart Day XOX
Happy Valentine’s Day to u and Paul!! Stay healthy and hope you will begin to feel better!!! Hope I can bounce back better from all my jet lag!! With all this working out, hopefully I will avoid any colds, etc.!! Also, Happy 5th Anniversary to u both! Have a great Valentine’s Day!!!!
