January marks three years for our beloved Mountain Girl Organics. I am creating a portfolio of all things Mountain Girl and would appreciate your help…
Do you have a photo, momento, memory, or testimonial you would like to share? If so, I would really love to hear from you.
Please click on the comment link above or e-mail me at Valynne@MountainGirlOrganics.com if you have an attachment.
*Bonus: if you comment/e-mail before the end of January 7th (tomorrow) your name will be entered into my mystery prize drawing!*
Your lip balm is the smoothest, sweetest, creamiest and best lip balm I have ever used…. and your soaps smell so good I love using them or giving them as gifts. And I adore the soap sampler for a gift….. where can I get more of them?
I am working on that last question, Denise! Brainstorming up a…well, a storm. Meanwhile I believe the only place that might still have them is Le Boudoir…Carla’s number is 303-526-1815. I keep missing her so if you talk to her please say hi for me : )
You cannot publish this using my name – even though I’m broadcasting it. Remember in Golden – the winter festival and I farted near your sweet smelling soaps – I think I lost a lot of business for you that day.
TeeHee, I had forgotten that gem! OK, next contest…the prize goes to the first person to correctly guess who the Mystery Golden Crop Duster is…starting midnight tonight (when the current winner is announced)…
I just used up the last of my chocolate/peppermint scrub! It is the most delicious body scrub I have ever used and am very sad it is gone. I am pretty sure I will be hanging on to the cute little Ball jar it came in, just so I can remember its loveliness! But the most precious Mountain Girl “item” is the creator herself! Way too many memories there to write about… Loads of love to you!
Awe, thanks Lee. Maybe I could send you a few baubles to put in the Ball jar? BTW, fellow bloggers, Lee and I have been friends for over twenty-five years…lots of memories : ) XOX to you and Jon!
I love your peppermint lip balm, and now so does Ruby. She asks for it whenever we are in the car, not bad for a 2 year old, she knows what the good stuff is.
Hey Bridget,
Every so often a comment gets past me…love that Ruby likes the Peppermint – took me a while to get that one right. My friend Rach tried my first recipe on her little girl who was most likely about the same age as Ruby at the time and her eyes got wide and she screamed – apparently the recipe was a bit heavy on the peppermint oil; a bit too stimulating. OopsyDaisy!
XOX to you and Ruby
i am LOVING your *honey bee good* lip balm right now, just put some on in fact. just started using it for the 1st time a few days ago. i’m an AVID burt’s bees lip balmer and i feel like i’m cheating on burt since i’ve been using burt for 15+ years or so? stop the madness. i’ll just have to kick burt to the curb IF i am able to get *honey bee good* local – please remind of where to find in colorado, thanks v! wish i would have taken photos of you at the boettcher mansion since photography is somewhat of my background. hope you liked the MGO plug i gave you on my blog. got your email, will be waiting for an update as time allows. hmmmmm, was the golden crop duster someone with the first initial ‘E’? it’s a guess at least. WARM hugs to you both!
Don’t feel bad about Burt – apparently he is happily back where he started sans all of the chaos. Besides, Burts Bees sold out to Clorox last year so don’t expect your favorite recipes to remain (never happens, alas – too expensive to do things the way people like me do ’em).
LOVED the plug and your 2010 theme – you are so talented and the “Shut your buttons” post is brilliant!

Sorry, it was not E – I really could not imagine her doing that in public and she so would not fess up if it were ever to occur (correct me if I am wrong, E). Of course I would not expect it from the perpetrater, either…XOX from NYC, all!
