How wonderful are my friends? Take Rachel, for example. She called me out of the blue this week and asked if I would allow her to interview me and blog about it. Why yes, Rachel…that would be lovely! Thank you for asking!
The interview focuses mainly on the sale of my bath and body products business, Mountain Girl Organics. We had so much fun with this! I am thinking you will enjoy it as well, and I am sure you are wanting to know more about the contest…
It’s a piece of cake. Well, more like a bar of soap. And a bag of malted milk balls. And maybe some honey mustard pretzels…yum. Where was I? Oh, yes.
All you have to do is comment on my blog (feel free to comment on whatever post you are drawn to here), then visit Rachel at www.lostintheattic.typepad.com and leave a comment on her post featuring yours truly and the sale of MGO.
This will give you not one, but two chances at winning a $25 gift certificate for Mountain Man Fruit & Nut Co. in Evergreen Colorado…yum…contest starts NOW and ends next Friday (4/16/10)…ready, set, go!
i was so happy to feature you valynne. cheers to moving forward! HUGE hugs.
That was so much fun! Love your style, Rachel. Here’s to a wonderful weekend…V
majorly missing you. loved reading about you on rachel’s blog. whoever winds up with MGO is a lucky individual, indeed. love you, you beautiful girl : )
Am hoping that when I get back from Cambridge your letter will be waiting for me, Em! Yes – can’t wait to see who does end up taking over the biz. And I can’t wait to see all of my CO friends again! Love you too and hope you are getting into some mischief with Kim this weekend ; )
The pansies are so lovely! What a pretty color… spring is here! Well it’s coming slow but sure…. and I’m so happy to be thinking of you, and am sending love,
Denise
Oh, Denise, I am so enjoying having gardens and flowerboxes to play with…will post pics of all of the herbs, veg, etc. as soon as they grow a bit. Next project – a clothesline! Working on my homesteading skills : ) Did you get my e-mail re: your cabin? Pics, please!?! XOX
Hi Valynne,
Of course you already know that I LOVED your interview on Rachel’s blog, and I still wish I could totally scoop up MGO – how fun would that be! :0) Thank you SO much for your generous advice and counsel on your techie expertise. It has given me much to ponder which is always good. Love the picture above of the pansies as well. Hope you are enjoying a beautiful start to your spring! :0)
Michele – your website pops up when I click on your name – yay! Yes, you would be the perfect Mountain Girl but ya kinda have your hands full as it is, eh?
Oh, can’t wait for Paul to read the techie expertise bit, teehee. Actually, I have come a LONG way and it IS fun to brainstorm this stuff, isn’t it?
Paul has a big Birthday coming up (next week!) and his gift is a trip to CO – will let everyone know as soon as I work out the schedule, etc. with him (he’s very busy and important, hee)
Hope it’s not ended yet! I’m off to read about the sale–did it sell? Did it??
Amy,
MGO hasn’t sold yet but the questions potential buyers are asking are good/relevant and I am still optimistic we will have a buyer before market season. This would benefit everyone!
In the meantime I am feeling your pain (via Fb post) regarding infinite ideas in relation to the time/resources one has to implement said ideas…keep on keepin’ on…you are a huge inspiration!
