Probably Working from the road first, Living simply second, and your caretaking and travel (sort of mixed together) third.
I love hearing about your adventures and had I a clone to live a second life for me I would send her out to follow in your footsteps!
You might get a kick out of Aluminum Bliss (see link to the right). Lani & her hubster live, work and travel in their Airstream, and she is just about to have a baby : ) Apparently this is becoming more common…
Living simply, caretaking, pictures and then travel.
“Work” is a four-letter word, but I would say the other four are equally enjoyable.
However, if you are forcing me to chose just one – living simply.
2 and 3
It is good to get feedback from your demographic – did I tell you I have an almost twenty year old brother and an almost eighteen year old sister?
Emily is headed for Cal Poly (Environmental Engineering)this fall : )
When I was your age, I was living in lovely homes all over Southern CA (as a caretaker) while going to school and working. It allowed a quality of life I could not have afforded otherwise.
Talking to my younger friends (and getting their perspective on things) is a breath of fresh air…I always appreciate hearing from you!
The travel and caretaking posts are most interesting to us.
I enjoy everything you write about, all of it. It has been delightful to stay in touch with you and Paul, and I love the vicarious hit I get from your New England observations. Your writing is great fun, the pictures are wonderful, and I am getting some courage from you about approaching the whole blogging thing. Your posts warm my heart all the time.
Oooh, keep me posted on your possibly pending blog! I am just catching up on my comments and will e-mail you today regarding the mysterious alleyway : )
Oh I think …I like the pictures best…that sounds interesting. Have a great weekend. xo
ah, but i like everything you write about. travels and places to visit is tops on my list if that helps.
Thank you for all of your valuable and valued feedback! It helps me to clarify the direction of this little blog of mine (I’m gonna let it shine)…remember that song?
Anyhoo, for those of you just signing on, please feel free to comment on any post at any time…your feedback is always relevant!
C’mon, how am I supposed to choose? Love the pictures & all your wonderful detailed descriptions. But, if I must, I pick 3: travel, living simply & the photos. Seems to me they go hand in hand. I love the path you have chosen in life & appreciate your willingness to share. Always looking forward to your next adventure! 🙂 Also, going to check out the “aluminum bliss” blog.
I am thinking this is my old friend Lisa (as in twenty five years in the making – yikes!)…did I get it right?
I now have two friends named Lisa Wood so it is kind of fun to guess which is which : )
You are right- 25 years …can that be?? You mean we aren’t still 7th graders passing notes? Short stories too, I seem to to recall. I guess I am one of the earlier fans of your writing. I am sure I still have some of them squirreled away in my big box ‘o memories. hah-good times 😉
Please lets catch up in person one of these days…that would be good for the soul. So many good memories…if I only knew then…apparently Miss Stringer had me pegged from the get go (she tried to warn me : ) Ahem, where was I? Oh, yes…it would be grand to meet up in Eugene!
living simply and i so enjoy looking at your beautiful and plentiful pictures.
